13 OCT. 47 IMTFE WAR CRIMES TRIALS: Juichi Tsushima, appears before the International Military Tribunal for the Far East, Tokyo, Japan, as a defense witness for Okinori Kaya, who is on trial during the War Crimes Trials of the 25 alleged Japanese war criminals. Tsushima was a resident in Great Britain, the United States, and France as Financial Commissioner abroad for the Finance Ministry from 1927 to 1934. He was vice Finance Minister in Okada Cabinet, July 1934 to Mar. 1936; vice Governor, Banx of Japan, Fen. 1937 to Nov. 1941; Pres. North China Development Co., Nov. 1941 to Feb. 1945; Finance Minister in the Koiso Cabinet, Feb. to April 1945, and Finance Minister in Prince Higashikuni Cabinet, Aug.10 to Oct. 1945.
