29 AUG. 47 IMTFE WAR CRIME TRIALS IN TOKYO: Kudo Tadao, a member of the Third Section of the Bureau of Treaties, Japanese Foreign Ministry, appeared at the War Crimes Trials of the 25 alleged major Japanese war criminals to testify before the International Military Tribunal for the Far East, Tokyo, Japan. Tadao’s section was in charge chiefly of the business concerning international cooperation including conferences, treaties, etc., and when chief of this section, the contact of foreign minister of foreign countries in connection with prisoners of war was its main function.
